The ABBA Show is coming to town.

Described as Australia’s Number 1 selling show and with more than 3200 performances world wide, Direct from Their World Tour will be in Kempsey on Saturday, September 11 and tickets are already selling fast.

“We’re expecting The ABBA Show to be our most successful tribute concert this year,” says Showground Administrator Janet Hayes. “As soon as word got out we were bringing them to Kempsey, the Showground telephone was running hot. Everyone is planning to dress up and do the whole ABBA thing. I’m not sure Kempsey will ever be the same!”

Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn, and Anni-Frid rose to stardom in the 1970s with hits including Ring Ring, Waterloo, Dancing Queen and Fernando.

The tribute concert will feature the songs and moves that their fans have loved for almost 30 years.

There will be two shows on September 11, a matinee at 2pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm (bar will be open).

Tickets for both shows are $20 for children under 16 and $35 for adults.
